Villa Anaya

Fabulous location and great facilities such as the pool and hot tub. The property was spacious and well laid out.

There were a few things we did not like:
1) Rodent Issue - As witnessed by the agent at check in, the freezer had a rodent (small mouse) situated in the door mechanism only visible when the door is opened. This is concerning for food hygiene reasons plus if the mouse were to gnaw at the electrical cabling it could cause a fire. I assumed the agent reported this to the owner. I have video of the mouse if required. Also in the utility room the mouse had chewed at the heat logs for the fire, which again I have an image. I appreciate this is an open plan property, but this should be dealt with.
2) Main Toilet - The flush mechanism sticks, therefore the flush continually runs water unless the button is lifted by hand. Also the seat was loose and clearly needing replacing. At this price point this isn't acceptable, all villas should be maintained regularly.
3) Bedroom Door Opening to the deck area. Upon check in the agent informed us the lock was broken so we couldt open the door. Again at this price, this should be fixed. Get a locksmith to replace.
4) Ensuite Shower Head - This had been replaced by an inferior product which wasn't sufficiently secured, therefore every time the shower was turned on the pressure raises the shower head at hits the toilet. The shower head doesn't fit the holder correctly.
5) Book of instructions - these were in French, which is completely understandable as we were in France, however a version in English would be helpful.
6) Leftover Food items - there were left over dried food items in the cupboards. Not sure why these were not removed, as I don't want to eat someone else's pasta or rice.
7) Cutlery Drawer - This clearly has not been extensively cleaned. There were crumbs in the sections, used birthday candles in one etc.
8) Under the bed dusk and hair - In some bedrooms the areas under the beds hadn't been cleaned and were dusty. Not good if you have allergies.
Overall I left with the impression the property hadn't had some quality time spent some basic maintenance and more in depth cleaning, which was disappointing as we felt we paid a top price and frankly we expected better.

Emplacement idéal pour cette superbe villa à 2 pas du marché et de la plage. La déco, les installations (piscine chauffée, terrasse en bois amovible, jacuzzi….) nous ont permis de nous sentir en vacances dès notre arrivée. Les prestations sont totalement en adéquation avec le descriptif fait par le propriétaire. Nous reviendrons!

Un séjour parfait dans cette villa de rêve, très bien située près de la plage et du centre. Le lieu est très calme, très agréable. La maison est très fonctionnelle mais aussi très belle, avec une piscine sécurisée très appréciée des grands et des petits. Le propriétaire est charmant, très à l'écoute et réactif
Nous revenons cet été avec grand plaisir

C’est la deuxième année consécutive que nous séjournons dans cette agréable maison.
Environnement calme, la plage peu fréquentée au bout du chemin est parfaite.
La maison est très bien équipée, très agréable à vivre. La piscine est sécurisée pour les jeunes enfants avec le système de terrasse amovible.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Une maison parfaite , un propriétaire très accueillant ! Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire à quelques pas de la plage et avons prolongé notre séjour tellement la maison fut confortable et bien placée

Nous avons séjourné à 7 dans cette superbe maison, idéalement placée à deux pas de la plage dans un quartier très calme. La configuration de la maison est parfaite, la cuisine très bien équipée et la terrasse avec la piscine plus qu'agréable. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir bientôt !

WiFi didn’t work sometimes but apparently this was a problem in the area generally.

Emplacement parfait : à 4 min en vélo du centre et 5 min a pied des plages
Havre de paix pour se ressourcer - au calme.
Romaric est disponible et très réactif - aidant et donnant de bonnes adresses pour un séjour réussi
Sans oublier Marie qui fait tout pour rendre le séjour appréciable - disponible et s’adaptant aux voyageurs

The house is really well appointed and has some quirky touches throughout the house.

La villa est splendide et idéalement située.

Un seul détail : le 'wifi' n'est pas broadband mais 4G, et la couverture 4G de l'île est sporadique et peu fiable.

A fantastic villa with an amazing pool! Safe for children due to the closing deck. Really well located to explore the wonderful Island and very close to the beach. Well equipped with everything you could need. Thank you!
